The soldier’s wife deals with several challenges especially the Nigerian Army Military spouses and families. This blog focuses on what it’s really like to be a Nigerian soldier’s wife or family member living in this our beloved country, Nigeria. It tells their story and the barracks lifestyle as well.

We all know that Military life is hard and risky! . Soldier’s wives go through a lot of stress and loneliness. Sometimes the transfers (postings) or deployments are just too close together. Just when you are settling down,….you move again!. They are not just like all regular wives out there. Most of them are passionate lovers, courageous, faithful and do well in solo parenting. The soldier’s wives are good home keepers, financial managers and fiduciaries.

Sometimes Military life breaks a soldier’s wife. I know a lot of women and children that has lost their husbands and fathers in the North Eastern part of our nation due to issues relating to insurgency. Oh…how i feel for those helpless widows.
